Mommy and Paxton week o' fun!

The last week of July was my last week off work for the summer. I decided that we would have a fun mommy/son week, full of different activites.

On Monday, we headed to Wildwood Metro Park. We took a nice long walk and then took a time out under a tree by the playground. Paxton had a great time looking up at all the trees and the blue sky. We discovered that the playground was definitely a "stay at home mom" haven. The number of mommies and babies was crazy!

Tuesday we headed back to the zoo, for Paxton's second trip. He stayed awake for a little more of the trip this time, but really just seemed to enjoy his trip in the stroller. I can't wait until he's older and really gets into seeing the animals and playing the kids' area.

On Wednesday morning, we headed to Kindermusik for the first time. We had a blast! What a fun thing! We spent some time singing, playing, and dancing. I think Paxton's favorite part was the relaxation song, which seemed to have worked, because it put him right to sleep! We have signed up to go for the fall session on Tuesday nights, so mommy, daddy, and Paxton will get to go together!

Thursday afternoon we headed to Perrysburg to check out the Farmer's Market. It was wonderful! We saw a ton of people and got to pick up some fresh produce. I think we will definitely be going back a lot in the future!

We spent some time on Friday visiting with my mom, who had just gotten back from Hawaii. Paxton loves visiting grandma and grandpa's house and is fascinated with their dog, Jackson. He loves to watch him and gets covered in many, many kisses.

Whew! What a week! But what a wonderful way to end our summer together.
