First taste of the good stuff!

Paxton had his first taste of "food" today! We decided after his 4 month doctor's appointment, that it was time to start him on rice cereal. We mixed it up and made it nice and soupy (yuck), put a nice BIG bib on him, and sat him in the high chair. His first bite was priceless! He really didn't know what to think. He wasn't too sure how to move the cereal around in his mouth and most of it ended up coming out. Good thing we had a good bib on him! By the end of his meal, more was on him then was in his belly, but it was a good first experience! We're planning to keep him on cereal for awhile before we start his first veggie. The pedi recommended going slowly, so we are!
