The weekend before Halloween, Paxton got to experience some Halloween fun! On Saturday, we headed to Fallen Timbers Mall to go to story time at Barnes and Noble. The story (Scaredy Cat, Splat) was read by a man dressed up as a vampire. Paxton was so intrigued! His eyes never left the storyteller and he had a great time. While we were there, we signed up for their Kids' Club, which has some awesome perks! After that, we headed to lunch with grandma and grandpa Hoge. Paxton had a great time sitting on the table in his Bumbo and flirting with the waitress. After that, we went store to store for their Trick or Treating. Paxton fell asleep through some of it, but was definitely loving all the other little kids and adults who were dressed up.
The next day, we headed to Levis Commons Mall for their Halloween celebration. Grandma and grandpa Jones also came for the day. We waited in line for candy for a little bit, but then gave up. The place was packed and we had barely moved in 20 minutes. We were able to get Pax fingerprinted, and we went for a hayride! Pax was rockin' his lion costume and looked adorable. Overall, Paxton had a great time celebrating his first Halloween!
