Hocking Hills

Paxton went on his second (and farthest) family trip the weekend of Halloween. We headed to Hocking Hills with our friends Danielle and Kevin and Melissa and AJ. The trip was about 3.5 hours and overall, Pax did a great job. He definitely reached a point where he was done sitting in the car. Jim and I took turns sitting in the back with him so we could entertain him. Between singing, reading books, toys, and naps, we made it! He was a great trooper all weekend with sleeping too, even when we completely messed up his schedule. We did some hiking and Paxton loved being in the Baby Bjorn. He was fascinated with all the people and the scenery. Mommy required some assistance when going up and down some of the steeper parts, but we did it. It was nice to have four additional sets of arms that were willing (and eager) to love on Paxton and give us a break. We all had a great time...ate a ton, laughed a ton, and had a ton of fun. We're hoping to make this an annual trip!
