6 months!

Happy 1/2 birthday, Sawyer!  What a fun little man you are becoming!

Sawyer passed his well check with flying colors yet again!  He weighed in at 19 pounds, 3 ounces (82nd percentile) and 27.5" (80th percentile).  His head is still >98th percentile.  The doctor was pleased with his stats and his development- he looked perfect!

A glimpse at Sawyer at 6 months:
*Sawyer is wearing 6 and 9 month clothes and fits into a few 12 month sleepers.  He continues to be a big boy!  He is comfortably in size 3 diapers.
*Sawyer was baptized on November 2nd with his cousin Liam!  What a special time for them to share :)
*Sawyer's sleep patterns still leave something to be desired haha.  He averages around 2 wake-ups per night.  He usually gives us a chunk of 6-9 hours, followed about 3-4 hours more.  He always sleeps on his stomach or side now.
*Naps have gotten somewhat better.  He naps at least twice.  Morning nap is usually around 30-45 minutes, while afternoon nap is usually around an hour, if not longer.
*Sawyer is babbling and making more and more sounds.  He has started blowing raspberries, which big brother Pax thinks it's hilarious.
*Sawyer has become a huge distracted eater.  If he hears a dog or a big brother, he is constantly pulling off to look around.  Makes feeding interesting!
*Sawyer continues to eat around every 3 hours.  He is 100% breastfed (a huge triumph for mommy and Sawyer!).
*He loves food!  Sawyer has tried (and loved) sweet potatoes, squash (acorn and butternut), green beans, pears, apples, bananas, carrots.  He's not a fan of avocado!
*Sawyer wanted to move SO bad!  He gets angry when he can't get to something, I think he wants to be like Pax!  He does roll all over the place to get around though- it's a very efficient method of transportation for him!
*Sawyer is the happiest baby around.  He has huge smiles for everybody, along with two adorable dimples.
*Sawyer loves the jumperoo!  He jumps around like crazy!
*Sawyer loves, loves, loves Paxton.  Anytime he's in a bad mood, a visit from big brother makes all things better.  He loves to watch him and listen to him.  He's also a big fan of Angus- especially he's continuous kisses!
